I’ve got a vintage tea party coming up and so I was looking on faithful Pinterest for inspiration. I found some lovely images of flowers in teacups which looked so beautiful as table decorations. I wanted to replicate this but with an extra element of vintage flair!

My idea of how to change this beautiful decoration was to use paper flowers in the teacup instead of fresh ones. I had some vintage craft paper in stock so it fitted perfectly with my theme!

This is what you need to start:

The first step is to cut out your flower shapes. teacup F2

The second step is to layer up your flowers, then pierce two holes in each flower. Thread the wire through with the button and twist the back to secure. teacup F3

Once you have made your collection of flowers you can start to put them in the floral foam. They should go in pretty easily.

I love how these complement the table. What’s also great is you can use them again and again 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this week’s Tuesday’s Challenge!
